Graduation
A coin's reserve fills from its 55% leg. The target is $60 per coin with a hard cap of $70. At 100% the coin would get one nanochat speedrun on an 8xH100 node, with a metered kill switch at $70 (an over-cap run is aborted and receipted as aborted), and its CORE score shown against GPT-2's 0.256525 as PASS or BELOW LINE.
The graduation lane is not connected yet. A coin that reaches its target shows "funded, graduation lane not connected". No graduation run is shown until one really runs. Graduation is never fronted: a run only starts when the coin's own reserve covers it.
The nanochat README describes its speedrun at about $48 for about 2 hours at about $3 per GPU hour on an 8xH100 node; that is the README's own figure, not our result.
The math, from the stored price record
Lambda on-demand 8x H100 SXM: $3.99 per GPU hour, $31.92 per hour for the 8-GPU node (price page, fetched 2026-10-10 00:01 UTC). The $60 target buys 1 h 52 m of node time; the $70 cap stops a run at 2 h 11 m.
